You can cruise the Li River to Yangshuo. If you are interested in the minority culture you can spend some days at the Longji Rice Terraces. You will also experience their tiered fields and get to experience the minority tribes of Zhuang and Yao.
Visitng Chengdu will make you experience the giant pandas. If you want to taste a great cuisine like the Spicy Sichuan hotpot, then Chengdu is the place to go.
The next thing to do is to decide the duration of your stay. A week in China would be ideal if you don’t just want to scratch the surface of China.
You should be aware of the gateway cities and the visa policy of China. Beijing and Shanghai are the top gateway cities for international flights. Hong Kong is also a gateway city for entering China.
One of your considerations should be the best time to travel to China. Throughout the year it is ideal to visit China’s cultural and historical attraction. The seasons don’t affect the things to do in these regions. For a China tour, the most comfortable and highly recommended times are during spring and autumn or from April to October.
